In the middle of the TV transfer window, two journalists are preparing their arrival on the continuous news channel BFMTV: Yves Calvi and Natacha Polony.

These two signatures will both occupy the antenna in the early evening, each with their respective show, in order to strengthen the audiences against the competition.

After a record season in 2020-2021, BFMTV wants to continue on its good trajectory by strengthening its antenna on weekday evenings.

To do this, it is recruiting for September 2021 two well-known TV journalists: Yves Calvi and Natacha Polony.

The first, who had hosted

C dans l'air

on France from 2001 to 2016, left Canal + after stopping his show

L'info du réel

.

Yves Calvi presented it since its launch in 2017. He gets the 7 pm-8pm slot on BFMTV.

7-9 p.m., an important time slot

For her part, the director of the weekly

Marianne

Natacha Polony will be on the air from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., where she will officiate with journalist Aurélie Casse.

Viewers had discovered her as a columnist for Laurent Ruquier's show

On n'est pas couché

, between 2011 and 2014.

The arrival on BFMTV of Natacha Polony and Yves Calvi, two faces known to the French, should allow the channel to counter the strong growth of CNews on this 7 pm-9 pm time slot.

He is embodied on the channel of the Canal + group by, among others, the program of Eric Zemmour

Face à l'Info

, then that of Pascal Praud
