On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, people including veterans and students from Jianchanghe Township, Xinxian County, Henan Province, an old revolutionary base in Dabie Mountains, sang "August Laurel Blossoms"

In the revolutionary war years, Xinxian was the capital of the Hubei, Henan, Anhui and Soviet regions, and successively gave birth to and nurtured the main Red Army such as the Fourth Red Army, the 25th Red Army, and the 28th Red Army.

In this small county with less than 100,000 people, 55,000 people dedicated their lives to the revolution.
