Forensic medicine in Egypt saved the reputation of a father, who burned to death, accused by his daughter of assaulting her.

The story, which spread widely and caused a wave of great controversy, between those who believed and rejected the idea.

The story would have ended at this point had it not been for the decision of the forensic medicine and the prosecution to expand the investigation to discover the truth of the matter.

In detail, the Boulaq El-Dakrour Police Department in Giza Governorate received a report of a fire burning inside an apartment and the charred body of its owner.

The Public Prosecution ordered an autopsy of the victim's body to indicate the cause of death. It also authorized the burial of the body and assigned the General Investigations Department to quickly conduct investigations about the incident and its circumstances and apprehend the perpetrators.

Investigations revealed that the victim's 14-year-old daughter was behind the burning of her father's body after she placed flammable substances on it.

The accused said that her father divorced her mother and took her to live with him in his apartment and took advantage of their stay alone in the apartment and sexually assaulted her and made her lose her virginity.

By presenting the girl to the forensic medicine department, it was found that she had not been subjected to any kind of abuse.
