Britney Spears will not get rid of her father Jamie for the time being.

Despite a hearing last week at which the Pop Princess reported to the Los Angeles court of the sixty-eight-year-old's alleged "abusive" guardianship, presiding judge Brenda Penny decided to leave Spears solely to her father.

Judge Penny rejected the request on Wednesday to provide the former construction worker with the Bessemer Trust Company as co-supervisor.

As reported by the Brachenblatt Variety, the court ruled on an application by the singer, which her lawyers had submitted four weeks ago, before Spears' hearing on June 23.

The singer ("Toxic") had accused Jamie Spears at the date of forcing her to perform over and over again over the past 13 years and keeping her like a "slave".

He also prevented starting a family with her boyfriend Sam Asghari.

Jamie Spears is said to have been surprised by the allegations.

He applied on Tuesday to have the individual allegations of his 39-year-old daughter investigated.
