John McAfee's autopsy confirms his suicide, and his wife calls for an independent commission

The Spanish newspaper El Pais reported today, Monday, quoting unnamed informed sources, that the results of the official autopsy report on the body of technological developer John McAfee showed that he committed suicide in a cell in a Spanish prison where he was awaiting extradition to the United States.

McAfee's lawyer said last week that prison guards found the antivirus pioneer hanged in his cell on Wednesday in what appeared to be a suicide.

His attorney, Javier Villapa, said Friday that Janis, McAfee's widow, asked him to request a second independent autopsy once the results of the first autopsy were announced.
