Abu Dhabi brings concerts back to Yas Island

The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi is organizing a series of concerts by a group of Arab stars, including Hussein Al Jasmi, Tamer Hosni, Myriam Fares and Asala, on July 22 and 23 at the Etihad Arena, in celebration of the blessed Eid al-Adha.

Yas Island will witness dazzling fireworks displays that will last for three nights, starting from the first day of Eid, and these shows are scheduled to start from Yas Bay (Yas Waterfront), and will also be broadcast on the official social networking sites of Yas Island starting at nine in the evening, So that the public can watch it virtually from their homes.

On the other hand, coinciding with the Eid holiday, the “Summer #InAbuDhabi” campaign is organizing a variety of special offers and recreational activities that suit all members of society and visitors to enjoy exceptional experiences, in addition to accommodation options, prizes and discounts that continue throughout the summer season.

Ali Hassan Al Shaiba, Executive Director of Tourism and Marketing Sector at the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, said: “We are excited to re-organize the concerts in the capital for the first time since March last year, which are performed by major singing stars as part of the Eid celebrations in Abu Dhabi.

He added that these concerts and fireworks displays that will illuminate the sky of our capital in celebration of Eid Al-Adha, in addition to the series of various events provided by the "Summer #InAbuDhabi" campaign, come to reaffirm the leading position that the UAE capital enjoys on the tourist map as a global entertainment destination.
