An office worker in Ehime Prefecture was sent a document on suspicion of violating the Seedling Law, alleging that the seedlings of "Shy Muscat", a high-class grape variety developed by a national research institute, were exhibited on the Internet without permission.

Regarding "Shine Muscat", there is a problem that seedlings are taken overseas without permission, and the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating distribution routes.

The document was sent to a 34-year-old male office worker living in Ehime prefecture.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, from April to last month, seedlings of the high-class grape variety "Shine Muscat" were put up on the Internet without permission, and there is a suspicion of violating the Seedling Law.

The office worker bought the seedlings at the home center, cultivated them in his field, increased them, and put them up for 1,500 to 1,900 yen each, which is about half the normal price.

It seems that he has sold about 40 bottles so far, so he admitted that he had sold "it was a pocket money earner" to any questioning, but said that he "did not know that it was illegal". That is.

"Shine Muscat" was developed by a national research institute over 33 years, and permission is required to sell seedlings under the Seedling Law.

However, there is a problem that it is taken out to China without permission, and from April, it is prohibited by law to take it overseas.

It is said that all office workers are sold in Japan, but the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating distribution routes, etc., considering that they may have been taken overseas.
