[Commentary] On June 19th, follow the "Walk in China 2021 Overseas Chinese Media Focusing on the Poverty Alleviation Achievements in Liangshan" organized by the Sichuan Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the Sichuan Branch of China News Agency, 25 overseas Chinese media from 17 countries and regions The representatives walked into many places in Liangshan and paid attention to the inheritance and development of the intangible cultural heritage of the Yi people.

[Explanation] The Daliangshan Yi Costume Exhibition Hall in Xichang City is currently the largest Yi costume exhibition hall in China. Nearly a thousand Yi costumes of various styles have attracted the attention and lens of overseas Chinese media.

After recording pieces of exquisite Yi costumes with a camera, Wang Weiping, editor-in-chief of the Italian Overseas Chinese Network, said that Liangshan should grasp the "shining point" of Yi intangible cultural heritage, strengthen the promotion and exchange of intangible cultural heritage, and help the sustainable development of the intangible cultural heritage industry .

A nation needs cultural inheritance. In fact, culture is the root of a nation and needs to be inherited.

Because thousands of years have passed, this is to continue our cultural context, and this is to be passed on.

I think it is Chinese culture, such a splendid culture, we have to go out and communicate more with the outside world.

Culture knows no borders, and each nation has its own differences. If each nation blends with each other, it will also form our world that is constantly (forward) advancing, and civilization is constantly developing.

[Explanation] In Xide County, known as the "Hometown of Yi Nationality Lacquerware", overseas Chinese media walked into the Yixin community of Guangming Town to communicate with embroiders and lacquermakers in the Yi Embroidery Workshop and Lacquer Workshop.

In contrast to the clothing industry in the United States, Yu Tianzhu, the editor-in-chief of the Washington Chinese Network, repeatedly praised the development of the local Yi clothing industry.

Like the Yi embroidery we saw just now, it has developed its own brand of bags. Although it has not yet been labeled, I see its style design, and its pattern design is already very fashionable.

I think this is a very good direction, and its overall style has undergone new changes.

I think it is already in line with society or some developed places, or a higher-level art space is developing, I think it is very good.

[Explanation] When learning that national intangible cultural heritage projects such as Yi nationality's lacquer ware painting skills and Yi embroidery have become "magic weapons" for villagers to get rich and increase income through industrialized operations, many Chinese media representatives expressed their optimism about the inheritance and development of Yi nationality intangible cultural heritage the way.

We can also see such a scene where she (Xiu Niang) is embroidering while holding her baby.

I asked an embroiderer, what did you do at home before?

She said that I can only take children at home.

So when I get here, not only can I take care of my family, but I can also earn a share of money. I think this is pretty good.

We have seen a lot of Yi paintings on many walls. The paints used are yellow, red, and black, all of which are the colors of lacquerware. The atmosphere of the entire "land of lacquerware" is also very strong.

Originally, a cultural atmosphere has been fully manifested in the entire village. I believe that starting my own brand in the future will be helpful.
