Recently, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province is making every effort to prevent and control the epidemic. The Anti-fraud Joint Logistics Operations Center of the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau found that citizens reported fraud related to the epidemic. Fortunately, citizens have a high awareness of prevention and did not cause losses.

The Guangzhou Anti-Fraud Center issued a special warning for fraud prevention during the epidemic, reminding the public to strengthen screening and multi-party verification. If citizens find it difficult to identify the authenticity of relevant information, they can call 96110 or 110 for consultation, or contact the local neighborhood community committee for consultation and verification.

Ms. Lin reported to the Guangzhou Anti-Fraud Center. She received an unfamiliar call saying that she was "suspected of selling national vaccines on QQ and asked her to cooperate with the investigation." Realizing that this was a fraudulent call, Ms. Lin hung up decisively.

The Guangzhou Anti-Fraud Center received a call from two citizens who claimed to have received a call from the CDC pretending to be a certain place, telling them that the courier was carrying a fake new crown vaccine and requesting cooperation in the investigation.

Both citizens were able to distinguish that this was a fraudulent call, ignored them, hung up decisively, and did not cause any economic losses.

A citizen reported a WeChat account (unofficial public number) nicknamed "Community Vaccination Center" to the Guangzhou Anti-fraud Center, which was suspected of pretending to be a vaccination center.

A citizen called the Guangzhou Anti-Fraud Center for consultation and verification: He wanted to make an appointment for vaccination in another place two weeks ago. Because he could not make an appointment at that time, he registered his identity information with the village brigade. On June 1st, he claimed to be a vaccine center. The person called, saying that he would do a "video registration" with Li.

The duty officer of the Anti-fraud Center analyzed the possibility of a fraudulent call, and notified the police station of the police station to come to verify the situation, and finally confirmed that Li had no loss.

The Guangzhou Anti-Fraud Center reminds that anyone who receives an unfamiliar phone call or message mentioning money or money transfers and requiring bank account numbers and password verification codes must be vigilant and verified by multiple parties.

To vaccinate the new crown vaccine, you must make an appointment through the official channels. Don't believe that "you can contact the vaccine if you have an internal relationship", "you can get the vaccine through the transfer of money," to prevent being deceived.

Recently, Guangzhou is making every effort to prevent and control the epidemic. If citizens receive calls related to the epidemic, they should remember one principle: government departments will not ask the people for money, bank account numbers, and password verification codes.

If it is difficult to distinguish between true and false, you can contact the local neighborhood committee for consultation and verification.
