On June 17, folk artists from Jishishan County, Gansu Province made Baoan people's waist knives.
On the same day, Jishishan County held the 2021 development of Baoan waist knife forging skills competition.
Dozens of "security waist knives" craftsmen from the local area participated in the event.
The purpose of the event is to improve the quality of industrial workers of the "security waist knife" through on-site competitions and to attract more young people to participate in the development and innovation of this national traditional skill.
