“Over the past day, June 18, 106 forest fires have been liquidated in Russia on an area of 3227 hectares,” RIA Novosti is quoted as saying.
It is noted that by midnight on June 19, 73 forest fires were operating on the territory of Russia on an area of 54,127 hectares.
The maximum area of fires was recorded in the Irkutsk region, where there were five fires on an area of 32,531 hectares.
