The Public Assistance-Hospitals of Paris (AP-HP) will launch on Monday "a major recruitment campaign for professionals, especially in jobs in tension, to strengthen teams or replace natural departures" said the public establishment on Friday. de santé de Paris in a press release.

The objective is to return “to the level of staff at the start of 2018” but also to “experiment with new work organizations” (with slightly longer days but more days off) and to develop “Professional promotions”, for example allowing more nursing assistants to become nurses.

4,000 professionals and 1,000 doctors

Given the natural turnover, the AP-HP recruits around 4,000 people each year (excluding medical staff) for its 39 hospitals, in the areas of care, but also logistics and technical or administrative, recalls the establishment.

In detail, for 2021, it will notably be a question of 2,000 state-certified nurses (IDE), 900 nursing assistants, 160 laboratory technicians, 70 state-certified nurses and nurse anesthetists (Iade), 50 nurses and nurses from operating room (Ibode)… But also clinical study technicians (to support research projects and clinical studies carried out by the teams), application integrators, IT project managers… That is to say “4,000 professionals”.

"In addition, the AP-HP will also recruit in 2021, 1,000 doctors, two-thirds of which to renew short contracts (heads of clinics and assistants)", specifies the public establishment.

A two-part campaign

The recruitment campaign will be carried out in two stages, “for five weeks from June 21” and “for one month from September 15”, across the whole of France.

Advertisements will be visible "on display in Paris, Ile-de-France and in some provincial towns" as well as in the press, websites, social networks, "to increase (the) recruitment capacities".

The AP-HP employs more than 80,000 professionals who exercise more than 210 different professions in its 39 hospitals, to which are added 11,800 administrative and technical staff.
