Le Fort Boyard, "a madeleine of Proust"

"I would live well with Father Fouras, he did dance. He has a beautiful butt," said the host, who does not seem to go back on his words, although he does not rephrase them at the microphone of Europe 1. He reacts by however making revelations on the identity of the most famous character of the fort. "Father Fouras was a dancer with Maurice Béjart. And a great, great, great dancer," he insists.

Olivier Minne has been animating Fort Boyard for 14 seasons, out of the 32 on the show.

"32 seasons, it's amazing," says the host, for whom the program has become over time a program of intergenerational transmission.

"The children of yesterday, who are the parents of today, have the idea of giving their own children this kind of Proust madeleine by watching the program with them," he said.

"We don't take ourselves seriously"

But this duration in time would also be due, according to Olivier Minne, to the fact that "the program was not really betrayed".

"Of course, the game is not at all that which Patrice Laffont or Jean-Pierre Castaldi presented", he conceives.

"Nevertheless, the mechanics are the same, and that there is a state of mind that remains: it is a team that comes and is united, it does not fight against others, but for a cause. These are all things that appeal to parents and grandparents. And then, we do not take ourselves seriously, there is effort, and there are real characters. "

Real characters that Olivier Minne will find on France 2 from Saturday, including the famous best dancer of the fort, Father Fouras.
