This Friday, June 18, 2021, the Iranians go to the polls to choose their new president.

Publicity

Already exhausted by US sanctions that have led to inflation, unemployment and poverty, the daily lives of some 83 million Iranians have been further clouded by the covid-19 pandemic.

More than 1.5 million people have indeed lost their jobs because of the health crisis, not to mention the deprivations and restrictions imposed in an attempt to control the epidemic.

In this context, how is Iranian society living?

What to expect from the departure of Hassan Rohani, the current president.

In a country where 40% of the population is under 25 and has never known anything other than the power of the mullahs, what are the hopes of the younger generation?
