Her favorite quote:

"Was I like that, too, at this age?"

And how can we be sure that it does not continue into adulthood - this art of stinging and hurting those closest to us, as sharp as in adolescence, simply concealed under a polish of courtesy?

"

Why this book?

  • Because it's a fascinating novel, you dive into it head

first and it's impossible to bring it to the surface until you know its outcome.

    Holiday

is one of the readable novels. Despite a slightly slow pace, it makes us terribly curious. The narration is captivating, several times I had the impression of reaching the goal, and everything started again on another track.

  • Because its beautiful cover and its title invite you to read this thriller

on vacation to feel like you are part of the decor.

Well written and engaging, you will have a great time while escaping to a beautiful French region.

By the way, I congratulate the English author on this relocation to France and the translator who had to pull his hair out a bit at the beginning to adapt the humorous stories.

  • Because good twists and a surprising ending

complete the positive feeling of this reading.
