[Explanation] On June 17, the launching ceremony of the 2021 All-China Federation of Taiwan’s 18th Taiwanese Youth Summer Camp with the theme of "Dragon Legacy: Youthful China" was held in Beijing.

Summer camps are carried out in more than 20 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in accordance with the model of "centralized overall planning and decentralized implementation".

Abundant event arrangements provide a sumptuous "spiritual meal" for Taiqing.

  [Explanation] Li Ting, president of the Henan Provincial Taiwan Federation, introduced that the Henan Camp was jointly organized with Hubei and Zhejiang, and was carefully designed in terms of form, content, and route.

  Root culture, Chinese medicine culture, including our high-tech, our 5G technology is being applied to autonomous driving, including our shield machine, our China-Europe train, our activities are designed to hope that campers will pass a few days of activities, Can feel the changes in the country, feel the natural, historical, cultural, and current development.

  [Explanation] Sun Zhiquan is a young Taiwanese who has participated in the summer camp for the first time. During his years of working in the mainland, he has witnessed the great improvement in hardware and software in the mainland, and he is very impressed.

He hopes that by participating in this summer camp, he can gain a deeper understanding of the mainland.

  To be able to learn more about our Chinese culture, including some of the historical events and stories behind it, I also need to understand why our development in China today can reach such a progress and achieve such an achievement today, This is what I want to dig, and I want to learn more about the circumstances and reasons behind it.

  [Commentary] Ren Hui, director of the National Taiwan Federation’s Liaison Department, said at the meeting that through visits and exchanges, campers can witness the development achievements made by the mainland, experience the benefits of various Taiwanese policies to Taiwan compatriots, and further deepen them.   [Explanation] At the launching ceremony, Ji Bin, vice chairman of the National Taiwan Federation of Trade Unions, etc. handed out the camp flag to representatives of the Taiwan Federation of Taiwan's branches from more than 20 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions.

Huang Zhixian, the president of the National Taiwan Federation of Taiwan, handed the flag of the summer camp and announced that "The 18th National Taiwan Federation of Taiwanese Youth Summer Camp for Thousands of Young People in 2021 will be officially launched."

  [Explanation] It is understood that the Taiwanese Youth Thousand Talents Summer Camp is a cross-strait exchange brand project of the National Taiwan Federation, which aims to expand cross-strait youth exchanges and promote the spiritual integration of cross-strait youths.

Seventeen sessions have been successfully held since 2004.
