At 10:50 pm on June 16, 14-year-old "Pig Jianqiang" passed away due to old age and exhaustion.
According to the staff of Jianchuan Museum, "pigs are strong" belong to natural old age.
"Pig strong" was originally a sow raised by Wan Xingming, a villager in Tuanshan Village, Longmenshan Town, Pengzhou City, Pengzhou City. It was buried under the ruins after the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008 and relied on eating charcoal and water to sustain life. It was buried 36 days later and was saved.
