The pressure continued to decrease Thursday in hospitals, which have less than 12,000 hospitalized Covid-19 patients, according to figures from Public Health France.

The largest hospital group in France, the Assistance publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP), on Thursday lifted its "white plan", "in view of the favorable evolution of trends that we have known for several weeks", announced its direction.

In detail in France, on the side of hospitals, the pressure of the epidemic continued to ease, with 11,114 patients with the coronavirus hospitalized, against 11,519 the day before, according to data from Public Health France.

56 additional deaths

Only 198 new people were hospitalized with a diagnosis of Covid-19.

France deplored 56 new deaths from the coronavirus on Thursday, for a total of 110,663 deaths since the start of the epidemic, including 84,225 in hospital.

The number of new cases detected has further decreased, falling below 3,000 cases, with 2,786 patients screened, and a test positivity rate over the last 7 days standing at 1.3%.

39 critical care admissions

Some 1,799 people were in critical care units, which deal with the most serious cases, up from 1,873 on Wednesday.

These services recorded 39 new admissions in twenty-four hours.

On the vaccination side, 17,363,854 people are fully vaccinated on Thursday (two injections, or only one if they have been vaccinated with Janssen's product (single dose) or if they had already had Covid-19 before).

And 31,393,190 people received at least one injection, or 46.9% of the total population and 59.8% of the adult population.
