The sun is gone, the heat too, but it's not such bad news.
According to data from AtmoSud, which monitors air quality, the ozone pollution episode has finally ended in the Bouches-du-Rhône.
Since Sunday and due to the hot weather, the department was on pollution alert, which had notably resulted in the lowering of the speed of movement of 20 km / h on all roads.
These restrictions are therefore lifted on Thursday, announced the prefecture.
The department, first placed on level 1 alert, went into level 2 alert on Tuesday.
Vaucluse was also on alert for ozone pollution since Tuesday, but again this was lifted on Thursday, the situation no longer being "bad", even if it remains "degraded" according to the scale of AtmoSud.
