At the press conference on epidemic prevention and control held by the Information Office of the Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government this morning (June 17), Chen Bin, deputy director of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission, informed that on June 16, the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission organized 13 municipalities. 1,311 medical staff from medical institutions stationed in Liwan District to carry out nucleic acid tests for all employees in 9 streets in the southern area.
A total of 110 sampling points and 1,325 sampling units were set up. As of 18:00 on the same day, all sampling was completed. A total of 536,086 people were sampled. The test results were all negative.
