Police are investigating that they may have drowned while snorkeling.

According to police, a snorkel guide man at Yonehara Beach in Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture, found two women lying face down in the sea about 1 meter from the shore before 2:00 pm on the 16th, and was nearby. I rescued the people who were there.



When rescued, the two were unconscious and taken to the hospital, but died.



According to police, Yoko Onoda (77) and Hiroko Makihara (74), who live in Aichi Prefecture, died, and 10 minutes before they were found floating, people on the beach wore snorkels. Looking at the place, it seems that he was swimming in the shallow water.



Police are investigating the possibility of drowning for some reason while snorkeling in shallow water.
