　　In Baini Village in midsummer, the orange groves in the cols are full of green fruits, waiting for the new harvest in the sunshine.

In Baibutun near the highway, a new village office building has been put into use. One side of the office building is the exhibition hall of Huang Wenxiu's advanced deeds, and the other side is a kindergarten under construction.

　　Running a kindergarten in the village was once one of the unfulfilled wishes of the Zhuang girl Huang Wenxiu.

During his lifetime, Huang Wenxiu was the Deputy Chief of the Theory Section of the Propaganda Department of the Baise Municipal Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the first secretary of Baini Village, Xinhua Town, Leye County, Baise City.

In the early morning of June 17, 2019, she was tragically killed by a mountain torrent on her way back to Leye from Baise, giving her 30-year-old precious life.

　　Baini Village is located in the Dashi mountain area of ​​western Guangxi. 11 natural villages are scattered, and several villages are more than 10 kilometers away from the village. This remote mountain village was once deeply impoverished.

In March 2018, when Huang Wenxiu came here to serve as the first secretary of the village in response to the organization's call, 103 of the 472 households in the village had not been lifted out of poverty, and the problem of "travel difficulty" in 5 villages was outstanding.

　　"The road to poverty alleviation is to advance and not to retreat. As long as it is confirmed, there is no turning back." At the beginning of stationing in the village, Huang Wenxiu made the oath of "No victory, no retreat."

In order to fully grasp the causes and current situation of poverty-stricken households, she visited house-to-house during the day, studied poverty alleviation measures with the "village committees" at night, and formulated a work plan to promote it.

　　"Secretary Wenxiu is very enthusiastic, and often talks with us about homework and farm work." "The elderly in the family is in poor health. She takes the elderly to see a doctor" "She is like a family member. She always finds ways to help us when encountering difficulties. …Huang Wenxiu's figure running around in the village is deeply engraved in the minds of the villagers.

After staying in the village for two months, Huang Wenxiu walked through all the poor households in the village, and drew a "people's situation map" in the poverty alleviation diary, clearly marking the home addresses of the poor households and other information.

　　"Secretary Wenxiu is very serious and full of enthusiasm. She once gave the village poverty alleviation work group a resounding name-Baini Village Rural Revitalization Super Team." Baini Village Party Branch Secretary Zhou Changzhan recalled, August 2018 One day, Huang Wenxiu led a team to go down to the house and stayed busy that day until the evening.

"On the way back, we encountered heavy rain and the road collapsed. Secretary Wenxiu drilled through the woods, climbed the mud slope, and waded through the floods with us. He did not return to the village until the early morning.

During his stay in the village, in order to improve work efficiency, Huang Wenxiu drove the private car he bought with a loan when he was on the job in the village and used it as a work car in the village.

On March 26, 2019, Huang Wenxiu stayed in the village for a full year, and the car mileage was about 25,000 kilometers. On the same day, she sent a WeChat Moments: "The Long March in my heart."

　　After staying in the village for more than a year, Huang Wenxiu led 88 households and 418 people in Baini Village out of poverty. The incidence of poverty in the village dropped by more than 20%. He also promoted the improvement of infrastructure such as Tongtun roads, reservoirs, and street lights.

Few people in the village knew before that Huang Wenxiu also came from a poor family.

She completed her studies relying on the national student policy, and returned to her hometown of Baise after graduation.

In Baini Village, the education of the children is also one of Huang Wenxiu's biggest concerns.

　　Huang Shijing, a villager in Baini Village, was impoverished due to his studies, and his two children went to college. Huang Wenxiu helped his children apply for the "Rain and Dew Project."

Huang Shijing once asked why Huang Wenxiu came to work in the mountain village. Huang Wenxiu said, "Baise is the main battlefield for poverty alleviation. Why should I not come? Our party is a party that actually seeks development and happiness for the masses. I am a Communist Party. Member, this is my mission."

On June 16, 2019, after Huang Wenxiu used the weekend to go back to Tianyang’s hometown to visit her father who was seriously ill and had a serious operation, she drove back to Baini Village overnight when she was concerned about working in the village. She encountered a flash flood on the way, and her life was fixed on the road to poverty alleviation.

　　The bits and pieces recorded in Huang Wenxiu's poverty alleviation diary have become memories filled with tears by countless people.

After Huang Wenxiu's sacrifice, he was posthumously awarded as "National Outstanding Communist", "Most Beautiful Struggler", "Model of the Times", "National Model of Poverty Alleviation", "The 7th National Model of Dedication and Ethics", "National March 8th Red Banner Bearer", "National May 1st" "Labor Medal", "Chinese Youth May 4th Medal" and other titles.

On February 25 this year, at the National Poverty Alleviation Summary and Commendation Conference, Huang Wenxiu was posthumously awarded the honorary title of "National Poverty Alleviation Model". Huang Wenxiu's father Huang Zhongjie put a big red flower on his daughter, and his eyes were red in the venue.
