"What I like about Fort Boyard is the surpassing, really the surpassing of oneself", explains Elodie Gossuin.

"It has been quite amazing therapy for me over the years. It allows you to face your fears."

It is indeed thanks to Fort Boyard that the former Miss France and Miss Europe overcame her phobia of spiders and snakes.

"We don't do television when we arrive at the fort"

But Elodie Gossuin especially retains the human adventure that constitutes the broadcast of France 2. "We do not make television when we arrive on the Fort," she believes.

"We are in a different atmosphere that makes us dream, that makes my own children dream, and all families in general for years."

After 11 participations in Fort Boyard, Elodie Gossuin seems far from blasé of the experience. "You are living an extraordinary adventure and you come home different each time," she says. "At Fort Boyard, you meet people, you make friendships and you experience really unusual things."
