On the set of Best Pastry Chef, Marie Portolano "tried not to taste everything"

Passionate about football and gastronomy at the same time, journalist Marie Portolano, recently arrived on M6, now deals with her two passions.

, she also looks back on her experience at the head of the

The tenth season, excluding special seasons, of this show was filmed last April.

"I'm still working on it now", specifies Marie Portolano at the microphone of Europe 1. "It's funny because I was a very bad athlete and I am a very bad cook!"

But the poor sporting and culinary performance of Marie Portolano does not prevent her passion and her knowledge on these two subjects.

"I work in fields that I love to watch, that I love to comment on, but where I am not very strong," explains the new host of

, who also relies on the show's experts.

"In reality, it's perfect: I listen to Cyril Lignac and Mercotte as if they were my teachers."

Football, pastry and music

The real difficulty of Marie Portolano on the set was quite different. "I tried not to taste everything, otherwise I was going to have a little problem!", She jokes. "On the first show, for example, there are 14 cakes per event, and two events. 28 cakes to taste is a lot."

The presenter of the amateur pastry contest very quickly found a solution to this problem. "I only taste when Cyril and Mercotte say it's 'fabulous'. There, I can't resist and I taste," she says. M6 viewers, who are already enjoying Marie Portolano's questions and analyzes in
