"Until the ambulance picked up the person, I realized that my heart rate was above 180 and my hands and feet were trembling. The joy, tension, and excitement of saving the person for the first time all came up all at once." On June 16, Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Public Lu Yijin, a 2016 preventive medicine student from the School of Health, told The Paper (www.thepaper.cn).

On the evening of June 13, she and Wu Tianyi, a 2017 midwifery student from the School of Nursing, cooperated to rescue an electrician from the school who was accidentally electrocuted.

On the eve of graduation, the two of them used the first aid skills they learned in school to hand in one of the most valuable "practice class" answers.

On the night of the incident, Lu Yijin heard a noise outside on the first floor of the student apartment, saying that a master electrician from the student apartment property was accidentally electrocuted during his homework.

"I learned first aid, I can save people!" Lv Yijin quickly asked Auntie Suguan to take to the scene.

At this time, Wu Tianyi, who was also in the apartment, also said: "I have also learned cardiopulmonary resuscitation, let's go together!"

The aunt quickly took the two girls to the scene of the incident, and the electric shocked worker lay motionless on the ground.

They first evacuated the crowd and ensured air circulation, and then quickly judged the workers' conditions: their pulse was barely touchable, their breathing was weak, and there was no response to calls.

Lv Yijin began to perform rapid chest compressions, and Wu Tianyi kneeled for artificial respiration.

Thirty chest compressions and 2 artificial respirations. In the first aid, two unfamiliar girls with different professions cooperated tacitly.

After three rounds of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the electric shock worker slowly opened his eyes, and his pulse and breathing gradually recovered.

To be on the safe side, they continued to do cardiopulmonary resuscitation until the ambulance arrived to pick up the workers.

On the 16th, The Paper learned from the school that the electrocuted worker has recovered well and has now been transferred to the general ward.

On the 14th, the person in charge of the student apartment property company gave two girls a pennant to thank them.

"When saving people, the knowledge I learned before came into my mind-we have learned this situation, think about how to deal with it? He has also practiced resuscitation countless times. If you can't hide, you can definitely do it." Lu Yijin told The Paper.

Wu Tianyi told The Paper: "Before I was afraid of the operation test. After this time, I deeply realized that these operation knowledge can only be strengthened repeatedly and become our instinct. Only when we really need it, can we be able to top it."
