In the Basque Country, sheep farmers can find themselves with a gigantic quantity of wool, having difficulty in selling it and being forced to burn it or bury it.

Breeders too, Ana and Aitor have decided to recover this local wool to do something with it.

And more specifically mattresses, duvets and pillows.

Their goal ?

Become completely independent in order to be able to fully control the process of transformation of this material.

“In the northern Basque Country, there are 1,000 tonnes of wool that are sheared per year.

We wanted to try to relocate a job that existed before, ”says Ana.

Their activity can be discovered in this video, produced by our partner Brut.
