In addition to grief, the family made a big love act of donating their organs.

It is understood that this is the first case in China where a couple donated organs at the same time.

On the afternoon of June 15, the organ acquisition expert team from the First Affiliated Hospital of An Medical University set off for Suzhou.

At 6 pm, the organ harvesting operation began.

After nearly two hours of surgery, two livers, four kidneys, and two pairs of corneas were taken out and then rushed to the First Affiliated Hospital of An Medical University.

There, the organ transplant team, operating room, anesthesia department, blood transfusion department and other experts made intensive preparations. These organs will save the lives of 6 patients with liver and kidney failure, and let 4 patients with eye diseases see the light again.
