Xinjiang cotton cannot be discredited-is there any "forced labor"?

On June 15, the Human Rights Research Institute of Southwest University of Political Science and Law issued a "Survey Report on Xinjiang Cotton Cannot Be Discriminated-Is There "Forced Labor" in Xinjiang Cotton Production" in response to this.

Based on the results of the investigation, the research team believes that the Western accusations on cotton picking in Xinjiang seriously lack factual basis.

There are no signs of "forced labor" in every link of Xinjiang's cotton production process.

Compared with other professions, the high income of cotton picking is an extremely attractive job for people in southern Xinjiang.

Especially with the massive increase in mechanized picking, cotton picking jobs have become increasingly scarce and sought-after.

Western countries’ malicious interpretation of Xinjiang’s cotton picking work is illogical and a false statement about the lack of a true understanding of China’s Xinjiang.
