  Liu Li, a citizen of Chengde, said that the earthquake felt more obvious.

  Chen Meilan, a local resident, said: "The chair at home shook during the earthquake (the occurrence), and I thought that the next door was being decorated."

  According to measurements, the epicenter was located in Shuangqiao District, Chengde City (41.09 degrees north latitude, 117.89 degrees east longitude), with a focal depth of 11 kilometers.
