Emily Blunt finds there again her role of mother of a family trying not to end up in the stomachs of extraterrestrials endowed with a very fine hearing and a pantagruelic appetite.

“These aliens realized that the quieter they are, the more effective they are at tracking humans.

They make a lot less noise now, which makes them even more dangerous, ”explains John Krasinski in the press kit.

At the slightest sound, the beasts jump on their prey with all claws and teeth out!

In broad daylight

Major change, the action often takes place in broad daylight in this new opus which allows to better see these voracious and repulsive bugs.

Being bathed in light makes humans even more vulnerable to their enemies.

The aliens are still as determined to take over our planet of which they consider the inhabitants - us!

- as snacks.

The action focuses on the film's two female characters, the mother forced to shoulder heavy responsibilities and her runaway teenage daughter (the ever-so-dynamic Millicent Simmonds).

But new male characters are also present in this second part where Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou find themselves on the menu of creatures for ever more spectacular scenes.

Silence in the room!

The attack on an island where survivors have taken refuge is one of the bravery bits of ever-soaring sci-fi entertainment.

This suspense is so well put together that even the viewer will want to chew their popcorn as quietly as possible while watching
