Jewelery designer Nada Ghazal started her work in the jewelry field in 2004, although she has been designing jewelry since she was young, as her passion for this world did not stop at any limits.

Ghazal works on translating the stories that pass in her life in the form of jewelry pieces. She embodies her feelings with stories and events through the various stones and shapes that she formulates in a way that leaves gold its pure color without polishing or changing it to mimic the skin and merge with it.

Ghazal finally entered the UAE market, after it entered international markets, including London, Paris and America, after working for nearly 10 years since its launch.

Ghazal launched a collection of jewelry in Dubai, and pointed out that it offers jewelry that highlights the concept that people live today, which is that they withdraw to the bottom because of everything that is happening in the world, and put pieces that take the shape of the hand and arm.

In the collections, she used colored stones, including green and pink, to a large extent, because she felt the need to convey the feeling of spring, and the colors were radiant with life.

human experiences

The collections and designs offered by Ghazal, stem from personal stories she goes through, and indicated that many of her designs highlight different aspects of things that have been influenced by her, including, for example, “Beirut Tiles,” which dates back to her childhood story with her grandmother’s house, where the shape and graphics were imprinted on her. The tiles in her mind when she was playing on the tiles at home in the winter, and added that the other group bearing the name “Angel” was inspired by her daughter, while the set of bamboo chairs stems from the story of their preparation of Eid cakes at home, as they were printing cakes on bamboo chairs, and she was wearing them. As bracelets, I decided to translate them in groups.

Ghazal pointed out that despite translating her life stories into jewellery, the people who own these pieces feel a sense of belonging to them because of the similar human experiences among humans.

natural color

Ghazal is distinguished by the way in which gold is achieved and its natural color, and about this approach, she said: “Since I started in 2005, I have relied on cleaning the special gold that I formulate through the brush. I do not polish the gold, but rather clean it with a technique known as (brushing), and leave Gold has its main color and without any luster, in addition to the installation of stones with each other in a different way, as it relied on mixing large stones with small and colored stones.”

She pointed out that she leaves white gold on its raw color, without polishing because it is different, noting that white gold is not as white as platinum, and its color is not yellow, and this is what people do not know, and therefore those who buy their designs recognize the basic gold color.

Discovery

Ghazal plays in the shape of design and sizes, and indicated that when she draws jewelry, she depends on discovery, she loves the exploration stage, and for this she always resorts to working on natural shapes and works on drawings in order to achieve what is new and different, noting that the eye is always looking for what is new, and always There are new and different things.

Ghazal also considered that the current era is a fast-paced era, but the first challenge for her in her work is that she is competing with herself, as she sets herself a challenge to provide what is best in every group she offers, and then the other challenge is through the current situation and the many challenges, especially as she It seeks to create something that can be sold all over the world.

designer identity

The jewelry designer, Nada Ghazal, emphasized her keenness to have a special identity that stands out in the designs, explaining that it is necessary that the collections presented by the designer be similar to his spirit so that the pieces can communicate with the people who own them, and that designs that stem from the heart cannot be alien to the identity of designer.

She pointed out that she sometimes sets designs and begins implementation when she is completely convinced of them.
