Elon Musk decides to sell his last property... and lives for rent

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he decided to sell his last homes, a week after a report that he and other billionaires had paid little or no income taxes for several years.

Musk said earlier this month that he only has one home in the San Francisco Bay Area that he rents out for events, and if it sells, it could see less use unless a large family buys it, which may someday happen.

Musk, 49, first announced plans over a year ago to sell his homes and most of his possessions as a way to counter criticism about his wealth. Within days, he put two of his California properties on the market.
