It is not a denial of the story of that tourist who claimed ill-treatment in a restaurant in Dubai, but to clarify some things that everyone knows about services in the city of Dubai, especially since the video that spread carries with it a lot of negative messages, which we believe cannot exist in the mentality of Any investor in general, let alone the mentality of those who work in the field of tourism investment in Dubai, such as hotels, restaurants and other facilities that welcome guests as their clients and customers, and they are specifically its capital and source of income.

What we cannot believe is that the treatment has changed and became bad just because the receptionist knew the nationality of the person, and this is a far cry and contrary to the truth. The conflict of nationalities and discrimination between people because of it does not exist here in Dubai, and it is not allowed to exist. On the contrary, the UAE is a country known for its coexistence. Al-Salami is between more than 200 nationalities, and this is not found in any other country, and there is no convincing reason why the employee mistreats customers because of their nationality, while the restaurant deals with hundreds of others of the same nationality, and other different nationalities of the world, logically there is no reason for that.

I do not want to touch on other matters. This accusation is not easy, and it cannot be bypassed, and there is no one in the Emirates who accepts it, and Dubai is a city based on tourism, and those who invest and work here are from the people of economy, investment, money and business, and there is no place here for politics and foreign conflicts. He will lose a lot, and will not last long.

And if there are cases that try to involve politics in business and commerce, and this possibility is that the generalization is a fatal mistake only, then these cases will inevitably be individual, and cannot represent a phenomenon, and if they exist, they are dealt with quickly, and according to strict laws, especially by The Department of Economic Development in Dubai, which has opened direct and fast lines with consumers, and it deals on a daily basis with many and varied complaints, works to solve them, and works to ensure that no consumer’s right is lost, and therefore the complaint door is open, and by many and varied means, and the error will not pass without treatment, As for defamation through "social media", it is also punishable by law, so let us be keen to understand and know the difference between a legitimate and acceptable claim for our rights, and between harming the reputation of others and defamation on the pretext of obtaining a right.

We do not claim perfection in Dubai, and certainly there are luxury restaurants with a high level of quality and service in a satisfactory and comfortable manner, and there are restaurants of medium and lower levels, but we are talking here about the level of quality and services, and not among them is discrimination between customers on the basis of nationality, such a thing is rare its occurrence.
