"There was a table next to the entrance and there was absolutely no one," he laughs today.

"People entered Fnac, approached my table… and asked me where the DVD department was!"

"People who don't read comics are my obsession"

"Today, I am happy to have so many readers, especially since they are often readers who absolutely do not read comics. I make comics for people who do not read comics. It's my obsession, "admits the cartoonist. "I want to bring them to this, like an evangelist who would like to introduce them to comics. I love it."

And the diversity of Riad Sattouf's large readership does not stop with those who discover comics. With
