Kevin Bacon to star in "The Toxic Avenger" remake

, Kevin Bacon will play the villain in the remake of

, the cult film released in 1984. After years of development, Legendary Picture announced in 2019 had obtained the rights to the franchise created by Lloyd Kaufman and therefore prepare a reboot.

Last December, Peter Dinklage was confirmed in the lead role, that of a quiet housekeeper and abused by a group of cruel psychopaths.
