In the early morning of June 14th, the Hoe Lao fishermen in Tai Po, Hong Kong, held a folklore ceremony of "Pak Yelong" in the waters of Tolo Harbor to greet the Dragon Boat Festival.

It is reported that the four major ethnic groups in Hong Kong in the early days were the local, Hakka, Crane and Ping family.

He Lao is a resident from the coast of Guangdong. After moving south to Hong Kong, he partially lived in Yuan Chau Tsai, Tai Po. He used shack boats as his home and fished and caught shrimp.

It is reported that this custom of "Stealing the Night Dragon" has been circulated among Hong Kong Helao fishermen for more than 80 years.
