Trial in Japan of two alleged accomplices in the escape of Carlos Ghosn

For US prosecutors, the trial which opens in Japan will focus on one of "the most brazen and best orchestrated leaks in recent history."

Michael Taylor and his son Peter, alleged accomplices in the exfiltration of Carlos Ghosn from the country at the end of 2019, are due to appear from Monday in court in Tokyo.

They face up to three years in prison.

The case is worthy of a Hollywood scenario.

To succeed in his escape, investigators believe that Carlos Ghosn was hidden in a large box of audio equipment.

Israel turned a page in its political history on Sunday evening.

The Israeli parliament voted to trust his government, allowing him to succeed Benyamin Netanyahu, in power for 12 years.

The new coalition goes from right to left, including the support of an Arab party.

Naftali Bennett, the leader of the Yamina party, will lead the government for the first two years before giving way to centrist Yair Lapid for an equivalent period, under a rotation agreement.
