On June 12, on the first day of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, a "family-seeking and reunion" convoy of Changsha Wangcheng police arrived in Xinhua County, Loudi. The deaf and mute Zhou Qi (pseudonym) and his 21-year-old mother embraced and wept.

Half a month ago, Zhou Qi's daughter asked Wangcheng police for help, hoping to help her mother find her relatives.

When Zhou Qi was 18 years old, she lost her home in Xihe Town, Xinhua County, Loudi. Due to her disability, she could not remember the details of her home and she forgot her real name.

After various investigations and DNA comparisons, the police finally helped them find their loved ones who had been separated for many years.

It is reported that since the launch of the "Reunion Operation" of the Ministry of Public Security, the Wangcheng police have helped seven separated persons and their families reunite.
