Moussa Ngom
is the founder of the
Maison des reporters
, an independent news outlet offering surveys and reports, in French and Wolof. In November 2020, this site came second in the Francophone Media Innovation Prize, sponsored by RFI, Reporters Without Borders and the International Organization of La Francophonie. Among its many specificities: it experiments with the crowdfunding and digital subscription model, it publishes its accounts and it aims to be a trainer for young journalists.
Hamadou Tidiane Sy
is the founder and director of
Ejicom
, the higher school of journalism, internet and communication professions, located in the city of Keur Gorgui.
A seasoned Senegalese journalist, he began his career in major international media, including Channel Africa, AFP and the BBC.
He is also the founder of Ouestaf.com.
It takes stock of journalism training in West Africa and explains the importance of transmission.
