[100th Anniversary of the Communist Party of China] "Woodblock Watermarking" intangible cultural heritage techniques pay tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party
June 12 is the "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day" in 2021.
In the morning, more than 1,500 pieces (sets) of fine works created by more than 1,200 inheritors from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps were held in Shanghai. Six major venues were opened at the same time, and many of them were works of art that paid tribute to the centenary of the founding of the party.
In 2008, the woodblock watermarking technique, known as the living fossil of printing, was selected into the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection List.
At the exhibition site, the staff demonstrated the interaction of the "Communist Manifesto", an interactive project of woodblock watermarking techniques.
