The person arrested was Kaho Takeda, a 29-year-old employee in charge of administrative assistance at the Citizen's Division of Imabari City Hall.



According to police, Takeda officials were suspected of violating the confidentiality obligations of the Local Civil Service Law around December 9, last year, alleging that they leaked information they had learned about the investigation that the police had requested the city to investigate.
