[100th Anniversary of the Communist Party of China] The Memorial Hall of the Third Hall of the Political Department of the National Government Military Committee opened

The Memorial Hall of the Third Hall of the Political Department of the Military Committee of the Nationalist Government (hereinafter referred to as the "Santing") on the campus of Wuhan No. 14 Middle School opened on June 11.

On April 1, 1938, the Political Department of the Military Committee of the Nationalist Government was established in Wuchang, with Zhou Enlai as the deputy minister.

The Third Department of the Political Department is located in Tan Hualin (now in the No. 14 Middle School of Wuhan). Guo Moruo serves as the head of the department and is in charge of the national anti-Japanese propaganda work.

For a time, a large number of progressive people in the cultural and artistic circles such as Tian Han and Xian Xinghai gathered in Wuhan to devote themselves to carrying out anti-Japanese and national salvation propaganda activities. Wuchang became the national cultural anti-Japanese center at that time.

The theme of the exhibition on the former site of the Santing Hall is "Battle fortress of the Anti-Japanese National United Front in the Kuomintang Control Area". The climax of the cultural war of resistance was set off, and the members of the third hall actively organized the propaganda of the war of resistance and the detailed development process of the final withdrawal.

It is understood that the renovation of the old site of Santing took three years.

During the period, the staff went to Beijing, Chongqing and other places to search for clues, and organized expert seminars, plan review meetings, and three hall family symposiums to collect historical materials and cultural relics.
