China News Service, Beijing, June 12th. On the 11th, the opening ceremony of "The World of Hayao Miyazaki and Ghibli---Animation Art Exhibition" was held at Today Art Museum in Beijing.

It is reported that the exhibition was officially opened to the public on the 12th and will continue until October 10.

  At the opening ceremony, in the music of the theme song of the movie "Castle in the Sky" played by Zhang Haotian, all the guests witnessed the magnificent opening of the door of "Miyazaki and the World of Ghibli".

  Founded in 1985, Studio Ghibli was founded by animation director Takahata, Hayao Miyazaki, producer Toshio Suzuki and others.

As an Asian animation studio dedicated to the production of feature-length films, Ghibli pursues the ultimate production standard, creates many classic films, and has won a huge reputation worldwide.

  On that day, Mr. Toshio Suzuki, the chairman and producer of Studio Ghibli (Co., Ltd.), specially recorded a video for this exhibition. He said that Director Miyazaki likes China very much and even studied Chinese in college. “Maybe in the future We will see Hayao Miyazaki who speaks Chinese."

  According to reports, the 4-month exhibition will use a lot of precious materials to show the stories behind the scenes of Studio Ghibli, and will cover "My Neighbor Totoro", "Spirited Away", "Magic Princess", and "My Neighbor Totoro" with nearly 300 pictures. "Howl's Moving Castle" and other 21 studio Ghibli classic film reproduction drafts, copy design drafts and original celluloid films, show the creation process of Ghibli animated films, and give the audience a vivid animation art journey.

  It is worth mentioning that the scene of this exhibition is a real restoration of the world in "My Neighbor Totoro": the cat bus that can be taken, the authentically restored home of Xiaoyue Xiaomei, the bush corridor and the tree hole where My Neighbor Totoro hides...   This exhibition also has a special Ghibli screening room, and the trailers of 21 animated films produced by Studio Ghibli will be played in turn on the spot.
