Five issues of "Téléfoot"

In addition to the matches, TF1 has planned many meetings to best cover the Euro.

"There will be a magazine hosted by Denis Brogniart, who will be accompanied by luxury consultants with Nathalie Iannetta, Youri Djorkaeff and Ludovic Giuly, who will give all the debriefs of each match," explains Sabrina Delannoy.

Former Canal +, Nathalie Ianetta was an advisor to François Hollande for sport between 2014 and 2016, before joining the TF1 group in 2018. Both former internationals, the world champion Youri Djorkaeff and Ludovic Giuly have also been officiating for several years on the first string.

Two duets of commentators

In reinforcement of the Margotton-Lizarazu duo, Julien Brun and Sabrina Delannoy will therefore comment on their first match on June 18. And if they have never worked together yet, they intend to be ready for the D-Day. "Monday, there are two matches on which we will get together to work," says Julien Brun. "We have two games to get together." And the distribution of roles is all found, with a Julien Brun rather in the commentary of the meeting while Sabrina Delannoy, thanks to her experience as a former player, will bring her expertise.

And each of them has their own way of preparing for the meetings. "I have a routine. Whatever the match, I have a Word table in which I put exactly the name of the team, the palmares, the stadium, a lot of information about the team, and for each of the players , individual stats, info, etc ", says Julien Brun. An "essential" routine according to him. Sabrina Delannoy, on the other hand, focuses more on "game plans", to know "in which systems the teams play, in which position each player plays". "I watch matches to know the technical profile of each player, what strategy on set pieces they put in place, so it's more technical and tactical," she concludes.
