[Explanation] On June 11, the State Council's Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism held a press conference.

Feng Zijian, a researcher at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said that the epidemic prevention and control situation in Guangdong has tended to ease. No related cases have been found in other provinces, and the epidemic is under control.

Since the outbreak of the Guangdong epidemic on May 21, the number of cases has exceeded one hundred, and there is a phenomenon of transmission in homes and public places. Through epidemiological investigations, the transmission relationship between cases is relatively clear. Recently reported cases are mostly from Areas under closed control and isolation and observation have been more than 14 days since the epidemic was discovered. No related cases have been found in other provinces, and only a limited number of cross-regional transmissions have occurred in the province, and the transmission relationship is all Clearly, prevention and control measures were taken in a relatively timely manner.

[Explanation] Feng Zijian introduced that this round of the Guangzhou epidemic was caused by the B.1.617.2 mutant strain that was first discovered in India. Existing research data shows that the transmission capacity of this strain is twice that of the previous strain.

The outbreak in Guangzhou this time was caused by a mutant strain (B.1.617.2) that was first discovered in India. This strain was named the Delta mutant.

Existing research data shows that the transmission capacity of this delta mutant strain is relatively strong. Compared with the old strains in the past, its transmission capacity has increased by 100%, which is doubled. It is more than the first discovered in the United Kingdom. The transmission capacity of the virus strain has increased by more than 40%.

[Explanation] Recently, several returnees from Qianjiang, Hubei Province, had a weakly positive nucleic acid test due to contamination during vaccination. Wang Huaqing, chief expert of the China Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's immunization program, said that the new crown inactivated vaccine has been lost through inactivation Pathogenic and infectious.

The new crown inactivated vaccine is a vaccine prepared from a wild virus through some processes such as cultivation and inactivation. Through inactivation, it has lost its pathogenicity and infectivity, but retains its genetic components.

So sometimes we are in the process of (vaccination) operations, such as opening the vaccine ampoule, extracting the vaccine liquid, and exhausting the air before the injection, which may cause some vaccine (pollution) in the environment. At this time , Sometimes we have to test for nucleic acid and it will be positive.

However, in fact, it is no longer contagious.
