In the early morning of June 10, a torrential rain raided Kaili City, Guizhou Province, causing water to accumulate in many sections of the urban area. This caused a lot of inconvenience to the citizens who traveled early in the morning, especially the parents who sent their children to school.

At 7:30 in the morning, the fourth small gate of Kaili was crowded with students and parents. Many children looked at the stagnant water on the road and were afraid to go to the school gate.

Seeing this situation, Zhang Yi, a member of the Kaili City Traffic Police Brigade, who was on duty at the school district’s "nursing post", ignored the heavy rain and the depth of the water. While guiding parents to park their vehicles in an orderly manner, more than 30 children walked through the stagnant road barefoot. Send them safely to the school gate.

Zhang Yi said that he would do this because of his duty first, and secondly because he is also a parent, and he is worried that his child will catch a cold easily when he encounters water.
