Said Saleh's widow: My marriage was not an interest

Shaima Farghali, the widow of the late artist Saeed Saleh, denied that her marriage to the artist was not a marriage of interest. In an interview with the media, Yasmine Al-Khatib, she said, "There are those who thought that she married him in order to help her with works of art, noting that the late artist did not help her at all, technically."

She added: "Said asked me to stay away from the artistic community and to wear the hijab, and I actually wore the hijab for 5 years because I loved him."

And she added: "I helped him because his goodness drowned me, he did not have a balance in the bank, all who owned an apartment in Alexandria, and I was spending from his goodness, because he was my worker and most of my money in the bank was from his grace."

And she concluded her speech about him, saying: "Said Saleh is the best person I have met in my life, the owner of merit in my life, the Noble Qur'an memorized me, and he taught me after completing the prayer to swim, and he taught me many things in religion and life."
