The sky is closed by clouds throughout the entire thickness of the stratosphere, everywhere the multilayer “pie” will cover the sky by 100%, so residents of the capital region will not see an eclipse at all, there is not a single chance, ”the expert said.
He noted that residents of St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Region, Karelia, and Komi will be able to see the eclipse.
“There will also be gaps in the south of Russia - in the Kuban, in the Crimea and in the Orenburg region, there you can also observe an eclipse,” added Tishkovets.
As previously reported in the Moscow Planetarium, residents of Russia on June 10 will be able to see a partial eclipse of the Sun.
The subsequent annular phases of the eclipse can be seen only on June 21, 2039 and June 11, 2048 - in the vicinity of Moscow.
The eclipse of the Sun with a maximum phase of 0.94 will occur at 13:40 Moscow time.
Only partial phases of this eclipse with a maximum at 14:26 Moscow time will be observed from Moscow.
At this moment, the Moon will close the Sun by 16%, which is 0.26 of the Sun's diameter.
