Punishment of "Tuk-Tuk" for daring to enter the Egyptian city of El-Shorouk

Hani Younes, a spokesman for the Egyptian Cabinet, published pictures of hanging "Tuk Tuk", a popular means of transportation in Egypt, with a crane at the entrance to Al-Shorouk City, in preparation for its confiscation, given that Tuk Tuk is prohibited in the city.

According to "Al-Masry Al-Youm" newspaper.

In a post on his Facebook page, Younes wrote: "The message of the head of the Sunrise Authority .. to those who are interested, do not try, because this is what will happen with any (tuk-tuk) near the city of Al-Shorouk."

He added: "I watched the final fate of the only "Tuk Tuk" that was being held in the city during its transfer and deposit in the device's warehouses in preparation for the confiscation procedures, amid the support and joy of the residents, in order to preserve the civilized appearance that characterizes the city of Al-Shorouk.

"We have safe, convenient and appropriate transportation in the city," he added.

One of the commentators sarcastically wrote: "The tuk-tuk is like a mouse... when you are at home or in your shop... and in the other, you stick to it just like that, and you look at it."
