Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 10th that it was confirmed that five new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The prefecture also announced that a man in his 80s in Oyodo, who had been treated for the infection, had died.
Infection was confirmed in 7917 people in the prefecture, and 120 people died.
